UX DesignerEmployment Type: Full-Time/Direct HireWorkplace Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)Location: Glendale, CACompensation: $120,000 - $170,000SUMMARY:The ideal candidate will have a consumer product-focused background and be eager to shape the future of our user's experience, including our invitation and greeting card creation experiences. We are a Product-led organization, so our UX team works in partnership with Product Managers to imagine, develop, and bring to market new products and features, co-owning critical parts of our platform. We are highly agile and data-driven, so you have the technical expertise to work collaboratively with developers and data/analytics teams to impact the full suite of our products, used by tens of millions of hosts and guests each year.RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define product requirements and goals.Lead design discovery by creating flow diagrams, customer journey maps, mental models, and personas.Develop wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs with detailed specifications for our engineers to build.Assist in conducting user research (interviews and usability testing) to gather insights about user needs, behaviors, and pain points.Advocate for user-centered design principles and promote a culture of empathy and customer-centricity within the organization.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to drive innovation in UX design.REQUIREMENTS:5+ years proven experience as a UX designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and UX thinking.Experience working in a UX Designer role at an organization that is focused on delivering user-centric/consumer digital products.Proficiency in Figma or equivalent design software (Sketch, Adobe XD)Expeirnece with Jira as project management workflow tool and creating user journeysDeep understanding of user acceptance testing & tools, story telling, and user journeysSolid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.Ability to work in a fast-pace & Agile environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive designs.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Familiarity with front-end development concepts and the ability to collaborate closely with developers.Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and applying data-driven insights to design decisions.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
