You’ll be establishing a new practice at a special and beloved brand that values craft. This is an opportunity to do the best work of your life. You’ll be a key member of the strong, influential, and growing Design team, collaborating with and educating nearly every designer at Notion.You’ll report directly to our Head of Design.What You'll Achieve:

Clear, consistent, and high-quality language across all Notion products.Establish the practice of UX Writing through your contributions and by sharing knowledge across the company.Directly contribute to new product designs with your writing and guidance to designers.Audit, propose, and make recommendations to improve existing products.Document and maintain norms and standards for UX writing across the company.A thriving UX Writing practice and team.Skills You'll Need to Bring:

At least 6+ years of experience as a UX writer.Incredibly skillful writing with a command of the English language in both consumer and technical contexts.Ability to design with words and collaborate deeply with product designers.Experience in management and practice, with a love for craft.Systems thinker, able to bring clarity to complex products.Awareness of brand voice and collaboration with cross-functional partners.Good listener who collaborates well with different stakeholders.Understanding that momentum drives progress.Value in working cross-functionally with project management, engineering, research, and data.Nice to Haves:

Multi-lingual – Professional proficiency in multiple languages (Japanese, Korean, Spanish, etc.)Builder spirit – Passionate about building and launching projects.Visual design skills – Complement language with visual communication.We hire talented and passionate people from diverse backgrounds to represent our customers. For roles based in San Francisco and New York City, the estimated base salary range is $185,000 - $220,000 per year.
