ReMatter - Marketing AssociateThe Opportunity:ReMatter is a fast-growing start-up pioneering the future of the industrial scrap recycling industry ($120bn and growing!). We serve the world's leading industrial recyclers, helping them transform industrial and consumer scrap into new, usable materials. Our platform modernizes end-to-end workflows within the scrap recycling industry and is the core solution on which their business runs.As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Marketing Associate to manage our brand presence and marketing initiatives across channels. This role will encompass content creation and distribution, event management, social media presence, online and offline campaigns, and more.This is a remote or hybrid role in our Santa Monica office, and reports to our Senior Vice President of Revenue. Candidates should be prepared to engage with our community and at industry events as needed. Our culture is one of transparency, mutual respect, and constructive feedback, all aimed at collective progress and a brighter, more sustainable future.As the Marketing Associate, you will:Plan and manage our presence at key industry events, enhancing our brand visibility and engagement with existing and prospective customers.Plan and manage other events to engage prospects at key points during the sales and customer lifecycle.Deliver content via email, social, and other channels to build ReMatter’s brand and maintain a consistent, high-quality presence in the market.Expand print and other cross-channel marketing partnerships, diversifying touchpoints to maximize reach and impact.Work with agency/freelance partners to optimize our digital presence and continuously test new ways to drive high-quality leads.Understand our customer base and facilitate the buildout of a relevant content library spanning videos, blogs, customer stories, and more.Collaborate closely with the sales and customer experience teams to align marketing strategies with business goals and product development.We’re looking for someone that has:Strong written communication and storytelling skills, capable of crafting compelling messages for diverse audiences.Highly organized with demonstrated success managing cross-functional project work through completion.The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.Ability to own and manage complex event logistics across multiple teams.Proficient with data analytics using Google Sheets or Excel.Nice to haves:2+ years of experience in marketing, SaaS, or a related field.Keen eye for quality design.Experience marketing software to non-tech buyers.ReMatter is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
