is seeking a

Design Manager (Design Build)

to be based in

Seattle, WAJob Responsibilities:Manages and leads a team of professionals, overseeing the design of large-complex projects.Manages design effort, design schedule, and budgets.Change and risk management.Coordinates client needs and develops/builds on relationships for future opportunities.Mentors, develops, and hires support staff.Monitors contract compliance and leads project dispute/resolution process.Leads and assists in the development of future design-build proposals.Builds and maintains relationships with project owners/AHJ's.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree + Ten (10) years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:20+ years of transportation project experience.Experienced with Design Build delivery for final design.WSDOT Design Build Project Experience.Experience leading and managing transportation design-build projects with WSDOT's on large complex highway projects.Experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.State Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain within twelve months.Excellent Communication Skills and Ability to Lead Staff.Position will require frequent travel to project and client sites.Additional Information
