District WideJob Description:Responsible for coordinating communications and public relations in the Franklin Regional School District. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the development and daily operations for the Franklin Regional Panther Foundation. This successful candidate is expected to have demonstrated proven success with public relations, foundation leadership, and building partner relationships. Also, candidates are expected to have a working knowledge of FRSD operations, Westmoreland County, and a strong ability to address questions from students, community members, vendors, and other stakeholders.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred.Must possess a thorough understanding of event planning, marketing, and public relations.Five to seven years’ experience with progressively responsible fundraising and/or alumni relations management desired, preferably in an education setting.Proven track record of soliciting and closing corporate/foundation grants, gifts, and sponsorships in the six and seven figure range.Ability to use publishing software and basic website design is preferred.Position Information:Short-Term Substitute position effective October 1, 2024Anticipated duration: 12 - 15 weeks.Required Documents:Current (dated within one year) Child Abuse, PA State Criminal History and PDE FBI Clearances as required by the Child Protective Services Law and PA School Code at time of hire.Current Act 168 Verification required at time of interview.Compensation:$240 to $300 per day based on experience.Additional Information:Interested candidates should submit an online application.
