We customize everything, not just the product, to fit the needs of our clients and partners.Vulcan Industries is currently seeking a Sales and Marketing Director to coordinate all aspects of lead generation and social media marketing. The position reports directly to the President and is based near Birmingham, Alabama.Essential Job Functions

Oversee and monitor lead generation.Respond to website inquiries and triage information to sales team.Drive sales through social media & lead generation.Plan, develop, implement sales & marketing strategies.Training, coaching, motivating sales team.Skills

Required:Bachelor's degree in business or related field.Five (5) years managing sales and marketing team in either retail sales or consumer products branded company.Strong technical application skills including ERP system, CRM system and computer software, including MS Office.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Possess a ‘customer-first' mindset to understand customer needs and exceed customer expectations.Data mining reporting skills through MS Excel.Have strong attention to detail, must be organized and a self-starter, and able to perform roles with little to no supervision.Possess professional business ethics and skills and can work with others.Possess a strong sense of urgency and call to action.Preferred:Experience in Salesforce.Experience with Global Shop.Experience in manufacturing environment.Working Conditions

Office environment, with some remote work.Sitting at a desk using a computer for extended periods of time.Full time, 40+ hrs. per week.Variable workdays/hours.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to compose letters, outlines, presentations, and basic reports using the correct format, punctuation and grammar.Ability to compose materials such as detailed reports, work-related manuals, publications of limited scope or impact, etc. and to make presentations.Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time.Supervision
