Working with industry leaders like Dow Chemical Company, Shell, Procter & Gamble, DuPont, and PPG Industries provides ample opportunity to prove the strength and merits of our company’s services, as well as the quality of our equipment, employees, independent affiliates, and especially our drivers.Duties/Responsibilities:Marketing:Work with functional leaders to determine and create corporate marketing strategyOwn the QC brand: develop and refine as needed to be current and relevantDevelop and promote QC’s messaging through advertising, recruiting support, product launches, and all forms of communication: both internal and externalUse current technology to create a positive experience for all end usersLead activities for and attend trade shows, conferences, and other events promoting QCOwn the company’s website(s); continuously update and improve site information and toolsProvide best practices and suggestions for social media campaigns based on industry knowledge and researchAssist in the planning of social media content calendars on a quarterly basis consistent with the goals of recruiting and brand identityManage budgets and resources productively to maintain the best financial impactCommunication/Public Relations:Serve as the voice of the company; create and publish all external and internal communications including newsletters, social media activity, visual displays for events, etc.Continuously promote the Company’s messaging through QC’s website and other online channelsUse blogs, videos, press releases, etc. to maintain and grow brand awarenessWork in tandem with Legal and other senior leadership to create and respond to public inquiries and issuesLeadership:Directly manage the people and activities of the Marketing departmentWork closely with other functional areas to promote and develop company strategiesOther duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Current and solid knowledge of technology such as AI, search functionality and site promotion, design software, research tools, etc.Ability to use market trends to create and adjust marketing strategyProject managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh level of creativity and artistic abilityAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business field preferredExperience in a supervisory role within a Marketing or similar department preferredExperience with the transportation industry preferredQC offers a full range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(K), disability, and more.
