Senior CAD Designer

Munters is seeking an experienced CAD designer to help develop our next generation of advanced Data Center Cooling Products. This role requires a strong mechanical background, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, and skill in 3D CAD.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Generates CAD models, drawings, parts lists, and assembly drawings for Munters products.Supports new product development with conceptual designs and layouts, as needed.Participates in Kaizen and other cross-functional teams to improve designs.Supports continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through the ECO process.Independently selects parts and interacts with suppliers to reach project design goals.Provides engineering expertise and/or support to other departments as needed.Assists in prototype builds to understand and improve the designs.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:3D CADAbility to work on large scale projects and provide comprehensive documentationEffective communication skills, both written and oralAbility to successfully plan work to meet deadlinesDesign for manufacturing (DFM)DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with designing sheet metal, piping, electrical, and assemblies.Familiarity with HVAC components.Experience with Solidworks.10+ years industry experience with an Associate's degree, or equivalent experience.Job Location:
