This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in brand marketing, creative direction, and team leadership. The VP, Brand Strategy and Creative leads the development of brand and product integration strategies and messaging that align with the DSW brand positioning and business objectives, merchandising strategy, and customer insights and trends, ensuring the messaging comes to life effectively across all channels in a customer-centric manner.This role is also responsible for building a high-performing team that inspires and engages to deliver best-in-class content, creative, and experiences across digital, print, social, video, email, paid media, and beyond through a mastery of design, strategy, and rich content storytelling. The ultimate leader in this role will have a strong vision that distinguishes DSW in the marketplace, activates the brand across consumer touchpoints to drive impact and results, and puts (and keeps) DSW in the news, on the feed, and top of mind for prospective and current customers.Reports to:

Chief Marketing OfficerEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that includes both short-term and long-term merchandise and marketing strategies, plans, and promotions to support the company's goals.Oversee the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.Ensure the brand expression and standards are cohesive and consistent across all channels, platforms, and customer touchpoints with a focus on building brand relevance and affinity, developing compelling campaigns, and creating meaningful content.Drive the development of product positioning and messaging that differentiates DSW in the marketplace.Utilize data and insights from consumers and competitors, and partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to align content, strategy, and direction.Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring they resonate with target audiences and deliver measurable results.Drive incremental sales and market share by aligning seasonal marketing planning and merchandise messages to market opportunities.Develop an annual roadmap for co-brand marketing opportunities, including co-op.Functional oversight includes: In-house creative team, PR, influencer marketing, organic social, retail visual merchandising, brand strategy and integration, vendor collaboration, and product marketing.Required Skills:Proven strategic and critical thinking skills with strong business acumen that can inspire, generate, and execute innovative ideas to maximize business performance.Deep experience in developing a marketing strategy from inception based on organization objectives and initiatives, customer engagement lifecycles, industry trends, and rigorous ROI metrics and measurable outcomes.Proven strategic thinker with a broad view of the business, industry, and consumer environment to optimize for today and anticipate the future.Project management skills from concept to timely delivery across a large variety of projects, including large-scale loyalty evolution efforts managed in an agile, product delivery manner.Seasoned management skills reflecting proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong ability to collaborate within and across disciplines to achieve goals effectively.Exceptional communication and presentation skills with executive presence and ability to clearly articulate the vision and work and rationale behind, engaging leadership and instilling confidence with business partners.Action-oriented with proven ability to think and act strategically and tactically to make informed decisions and execute projects.Experience:15+ years progressive experience in brand and marketing strategy, product marketing.5+ years of experience building and leading teams across marketing strategy and planning through development and execution with a proven track record of success.Preferred Qualifications:Apparel/footwear/lifestyle/retail category management experience preferred.Education:STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP –
