agoDescriptionDirector of Sales & Marketing - Embassy Suites Cincinnati-Blue AshThe Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue, building customer relationships, and leading and managing the sales team. This individual will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and ExecutionDevelop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.Identify new business opportunities and market trends to maximize revenue.Team Leadership and DevelopmentRecruit, train, and mentor the sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support.Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure team members meet or exceed targets.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.Conduct regular client visits and participate in networking events to promote the hotel portfolio.Sales Performance and ReportingMonitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the Regional Director of Sales.Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support of sales initiatives.Participate in the development of promotional materials and campaigns.Market Analysis and ResearchConduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.Stay informed about competitor activities and industry developments.Qualifications
5+ years of experience in sales and marketing rolesProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficiency in hotel management operations competenciesBasic Computer Skills (Determined by an Assessment)
