You’ll be responsible for assessing, modeling, and testing the acoustics of our propellers and drone vehicle designs. You’ll help build and utilize our suite of noise modeling and analysis tools, exploring new and novel designs to meet customer requirements.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics and 5+ years experience or equivalentExperience with flight vehicle design, simulation, and developmentProficient with at least one modern programming language (e.g. C++, Python, Java, VBA)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master's or PHD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or equivalent3+ years experience in acoustic design, analysis, and/or testing for air vehicles and/or propellersWind tunnel testing experiencePropeller/rotor design, analysis, and testing experienceExperience using acoustic analysis and noise modeling toolsVehicle level design intuition and ability to operate & analyze at the system-of-systems levelAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
