TITLE: Media Technologies AnalystLOCATION: Santa Monica, CA (100% on-site)ANTICIPATED DURATION: 2 months (possibility for extension)

The Media Technologies Analyst will work under the guidance of the Senior Manager, Media Technologies, supporting our client’s infrastructure. This role will be part of the enterprise IT department and partner closely with the IT infrastructure and our client’s teams.

The Media Technologies Analyst will maintain and troubleshoot media infrastructure systems, including imaging and maintenance of Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, networking, documentation, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience in the media production and technology industry and be able to keep up with the latest trends and advancements in the field.

Media Technologies Analyst Responsibilities:

Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot both Windows and Mac workstations and Windows and Linux servers. This includes working with both physical (bare metal) systems and virtual environments.

Use Endpoint Central and JAMF for workstation deployment and management.

Provide general support for the shared NAS file system and client connectivity.

Create and update documentation for media infrastructure and processes.

Install, configure, and maintain media infrastructure systems and equipment.

Provide support for media network infrastructure.

Manage the inventory of media infrastructure equipment and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

Provide technical support to media production teams, including training and assistance in the use of those systems.

Collaborate with media production teams to develop new workflows and optimize existing ones.

Manage support requests and work planning.

Work with the global teams to help support and improve infrastructure.

Provide support as part of the Media Technologies team.

Media Technologies Analyst Requirements:

Experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on systems, workstation management, and networking.

Strong technical skills in Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems configuration and maintenance.

Technical knowledge of network topology, configuration, and troubleshooting (Cisco preferred).

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Theoretical knowledge and practical experience with IT Service Management processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, etc.).

Technical knowledge of virtual environments (Dell VxRail preferred) as well as expertise in cloud services (AWS preferred).

Experience with media-specific live and post-production infrastructure is a plus.

Must be approachable, teachable, a team player, and able to work as part of a global team.

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Excellent self-starter mentality with the ability to plan and prioritize work efficiently.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $35 to $45 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
