The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.ERG’s Facilities Planning and Engineering team is seeking a design professional with experience managing teams designing interior or exterior building renovations, building repairs (e.g., roof or HVAC replacement), and modifications or repairs to utilities and infrastructure. This position will provide technical and administrative supervision for design professionals, including architects, engineers, and engineering technicians. This position may also require oversight of subcontracted design services by third-party design firms. The successful candidate will be joining our growing team of professionals who focus on quality work and fostering collaborative, long-term relationships with our clients and within our team.This will be a full-time remote position without a set office location; however, candidates must be located in the Washington, DC, area or be willing to relocate due to frequent (weekly) on-site client and team meetings.Job Description:

Overseeing engineering design teams executing facility construction and renovation projectsPrepare technical memoranda/reports to document compliance with the design scopeEnsure designs conform with applicable regulations, codes, and standardsEnsure deliverables (e.g., project submittals) are reviewed internally in accordance with quality control requirementsEnsure customer expectations for quality, schedule, and cost are metOversee subcontracted design servicesOversee post-construction award services when requiredSupporting team growth and development through recruiting, onboarding, training, and mentoringThis position will be full-time and include interaction and support from ERG personnel in various locations, including Chantilly, Arlington, and Indian Head, MDQualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree (minimum GPA of 3.0)At least 15 years of relevant experienceStrong project management skills and ability to manage an active portfolio of projectsDemonstrated ability to collaborate/communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholdersExcellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skillsExperience with the successful growth of a design teamExperience with design-bid-build types of construction projectsExperience with vertical new construction, building renovation, and civil/site infrastructure construction projectsExperience with construction building codes and permitting processesExperience with DoD-specific codes and requirements is preferredExpertise with at least one of the following, but preferably all: HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structuralApplicable professional certification or license (e.g., Professional Engineer or Registered Architect) is preferred but not requiredAbility to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance$120,000 - $175,000 a year
