KMAN and The Manhattan Mercury and their parent companies have built a modern, multimedia news operation that includes broadcast, web, and print components.
We’re looking for a reliable radio journalist who can work independently to produce daily broadcasts and also as part of a team, coordinating reporters for assignments that go out to the public in multiple forms. The successful candidate must be an excellent communicator with strong news judgment and time-management skills. This person will build relationships within the community and maintain high standards for content.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field
3-5 years radio experience
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to assignments
