Flix North America is seeking a

PR and Corporate Communications Manager

to help shape and execute external communications strategies for our rapidly growing organization and its two brands, FlixBus and Greyhound. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, you will play a critical role in building and protecting the company’s reputation through earned media, thought leadership, crisis communications, and social media efforts. This position requires a creative and collaborative professional with superb storytelling, writing and content creation skills, combined with strong business acumen and a can-do attitude.Your Tasks – Paint the world green

Develop and execute best-in-class PR and corporate communication plans aligned with the overall communications strategy and company goals.Build and maintain effective relations with key national, trade and local media, sourcing newsworthy information from within the organization to develop compelling media pitches and secure consistent quality media coverage.Position the company as a thought leader on key topics.Draft high-quality content for executives, including talking points, opinion pieces and external presentations.Proactively identify and manage speaking opportunities, corporate awards and community partnerships.Develop and maintain editorial and content calendars, create high-quality social media content, including videos, and manage corporate social media channels.Manage corporate press rooms and ensure our website content is always updated.Proactively offer new ideas, concepts, campaigns, and formats to continuously improve external communications, while playing an active role in project planning, scheduling, proofing, and quality assurance.Support attendance of industry events by Flix NA leaders and procure materials (photos, video, etc.) for use on digital and social media.Support development and implementation of crisis communication and issues management plans. Serve on-call for crisis situations.Stay current on leading trends and current events to deliver practical and insightful communication recommendations and thought leadership.Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.6+ years of external/PR communications experience within a global company or extensive journalism experience.Experience running corporate social media channels (LinkedIn and X) is a strong plus.Skilled at creating corporate announcements, press releases, and managing complex media issues.Solid understanding of the U.S. media landscape with a track record of success securing coverage in both consumer and business media.Experience developing executive communications, supporting speaking events, and writing award submissions.Skilled at creating compelling content for social media and managing these projects from start to finish, including graphics, photo, and video editing.Experience developing and managing an editorial calendar, creating engaging content across various channels and formats.Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear viewpoints on complex issues and create concise, well-written narratives.Innovative, strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach and understanding of business needs.Proven experience in planning and coordinating events, campaigns, and major corporate initiatives.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, adept at sourcing content and networking.Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, demonstrating superior organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.Proficiency in creative tools and technology, with knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) being a plus.Our Perks – More than just a job
