Communications Manager

who will be the driving force behind internal brand communications and external messaging for our franchise owners.Responsibilities:

Work with brand executives, operations representatives, fellow marketing team members, and franchise owners to further develop and refine the brand’s voice and personality, both consumer and development.Manage the brand content calendar; be the driving force behind cross-channel integration (digital, print, blog, public relations efforts). Create and solicit content from appropriate team members as needed.Manage day-to-day relationship with PR agency for Authority Brands, including pitch development, franchisee stories, network activation, etc.Work with digital marketing partner to optimize educational content to drive organic SEO.Support our business-wide employee communications hub by creating content to share with all 800+ staff.Write and edit content for direct marketing pieces, websites, and company management.Manage the bi-weekly internal newsletter, including meeting with operations staff to discuss content, compiling and editing articles, and layout/distribution of piece on set publication calendar.Assist in franchise development efforts, including franchise owner profiles, content, and overall messaging development.Support franchise owner local marketing and communications efforts as needed.Manage social media content and planning for the brand on the corporate level and oversee the franchise owners’ pages, working to improve each location’s online social presence. Work with franchise owners to improve their online reputation through various review monitoring programs.Develop and support charitable community programs as directed by Authority Brands.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or English.3-4 years of experience.Knowledge/understanding of working with media.Solid PC skills, including Microsoft Office systems and Adobe Creative Suite.Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.Energetic, open to a collaborative environment, business-minded, strategic, and creative.Self-starter who is results-oriented.Experience with franchise/multiple locations is a plus.Experience with internal communications for large corporations is a plus.We believe our greatest assets are our employees; we offer competitive salaries and a full benefits package to include PTO, paid holidays, 401(k), and more.Authority Brands Inc. conducts drug screens and background checks on applicants who accept employment offers.
