As the Senior Designer for Women’s fashion wear, you will join an extremely fast-paced team of passionate and energetic creative individuals working towards our vision to be the fashionable brand. You will be a highly energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset that understands our brand’s aesthetic and the Lucy Paris customer.Who You Will Work With:

You will report to the Design Director and partner closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Production, and Technical Design teams.Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Design Director to implement design strategy.Be a strong contributor in research and inspiration through shopping the competitive marketplace and identifying product opportunities including trend, silhouette, mood, color theory, and fabric development.Have a deep understanding of design and fit intent, material and construction, and be able to present ideas articulately to cross-functional partners and design leadership.Support and contribute to collections that execute against aligned line plans and assortment strategies while delivering responsible cost targets.Ability to own a high style count/high level of style complexity from concept through creation, managing collaboration with cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, brand-appropriate, and impeccably fitting designs.Initiate and manage off-calendar concept development that’s in line with seasonal strategy.Partner with Product Developer and Vendors on raw material & trim sourcing.Create, maintain, and update tech packs, sketches, and design decks, including fit comments and design changes.Guide and mentor junior team members through execution of seasonal concept and design direction.Develop, train, and manage seasonal interns.Identify and create solutions for problems facing product design, whether it be ways of working, deadlines, supply chain issues, or others.Stay hyper-focused on the Lucy Paris consumer by actively reading consumer reviews online, store visits, and participation in trade show events.Build strong cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, and Product Development, proactively communicating changes and/or updates accordingly.Adhere to Global Calendar deadlines and expectations through each milestone point.Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary.Qualifications:

Proven track record of identifying trends and delivering results.Solid understanding of the marketplace and competitive set.Exceptional knowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishing.Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop for flat sketching, Microsoft PowerPoint, Office, and Excel.Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.Ability to multi-task, think and work creatively with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships among team members, management, and cross-functional teams.Passion for the brand.Job Types: Part-time, Contract, or Full TimeExpected hours: No more than 40 per week
