As a product designer at Vagaro, you'll have the opportunity to play a central role in the way we build technologies - ensuring the products you ship surpass expectations, are easy to use, and built to the highest level of craft. You'll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to digging into the pixels up to launch. We'll expect you to fully utilize your full range of product design, UX design, research, visual design and storytelling skills throughout every step while contributing to strategic discussions with product partners. With the autonomy to drive towards effective solutions and elegant user experiences, you'll forge strong partnerships with a variety of stakeholders including executive leadership, product, engineering, data, marketing, sales and support teams. Together, we'll bring these solutions to life, delivering exceptional outcomes that resonate with our customers.
What You'll Do:
Embrace the excitement of a fast-moving environment and lead a partnership with multiple stakeholders to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.
Break down large ambiguous problems into simple solutions and advocate for a user-centered design approach that puts our customers first.
Lead and deliver design projects of large and (or) ambiguous scope.
Give and solicit feedback from designers and the broader team in order to continually raise our bar for quality across the organization.
Bring concepts to life through thoughtful design, prototypes, and clear storytelling to help stakeholders visualize the future of Vagaro's products and features.
Deliver meticulously crafted designs and detailed specs to our development team, ensuring a seamless handoff and execution.
Think systematically, to make experiences as scalable as they are elegant and delightful.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain, advocate for, and evolve and our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
2-4+ years of product experience building and shipping applications or software features/products across a variety of platforms.
A keen eye for visual design with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense.
Proficiency in Figma, with a knack for leveraging its full potential to bring designs to life.
Experience representing work to teammates, leaders and executives, clearly and succinctly articulating the goals and concepts.
Passionate about creating beautiful, minimal, and responsive designs that inspire and delight users.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with and contributing to a design system.
Understanding of how native apps and web applications are built, along with a foundation in information architecture.
A history of collaboration and communication with a variety of stakeholders and teams.
