Description Husson Universitys New England School of Communications is looking for part-timeadjunct faculty members to teach Video Production courses. These coursesintroduce students to the world of video and digital filmmaking. Students learn thebasic skills needed to create high end, broadcast quality video, including shooting,non-linear editing, gathering professional audio, continuity, composition, andworkflow management.Examples of Duties
Provide students proper instruction with content to achieve programmatic outcomesin the various courses to be taught.Assign and oversee multiple field and post productions at an introductory levelAccurately track and assess student progress and maintain Husson UniversitystandardsAdvising the Academic Director on proposed curricular changesAssisting the department in experiential assessments & exercises whereappropriateAssist in the research and assessment of industry trends and future technologiesconcerning curriculumAdditional Responsibilities:o Gathering data and preparing detailed documentso Representing the School off campus when appropriateo Serving on committees, as appropriateo Performing other duties as assigned by the administrationTypical Qualifications Education:Masters Degree Required; Ph.D., MFA, or other terminal degree preferred.Experience:At least 1-3 years of work experience in related field.College level teaching experience preferred.Supplemental Information Undergraduate Course:Masters Prepared $933.33 maximum per credit hour*
Undergraduate Course:Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate CourseMasters Level Prepared $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour*
Graduate CourseDoctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour*
*Rate is dependent upon the number of students enrolled in the course assigned.
Lab Sections Undergraduate:Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hourDoctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour
