JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY Pulsar Title Insurance Company Inc., a commercial and residential title insurance underwriter based in the Baton Rouge area, is seeking an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated Title Insurance Underwriter Business Development / Sales Executive for the Louisiana market.

The ideal candidate will have strong in-person, phone and written customer communication skills.

The candidate will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities, from identifying agent prospects and lead generation through close in the Louisiana market, will develop and implement Pulsar’s business and marketing plan in an effort to expand Pulsar’s customer base in the Louisiana market.

The candidate will work with the company’s support team for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

The candidate will perform all duties in accordance with Pulsar policies, procedures, and guidelines and within all state and federal regulations.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and maintains relationships with existing and new title agentsOrganize and schedule meetings and appointments, travel to and attend when necessaryAssist in the onboarding process for new agentsOpenness and willingness to lead sales efforts on all levels Identifies and converts qualified prospects to new customers to build client baseProvides general support to company’s title agentsUsing a consultative sales approach, analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of title products to fulfill such requirementsPrepares yearly business plans and/or other status reports as required by managementWork in alignment with management to contribute new marketing strategies when possible and appropriatePresent title and closing production procedures, administrative product information and demonstrations to clientsAttends sales meetings and calls as requiredMaintains high visibility in real estate community by representing the company at social/business functions; including industry meetings or seminars, real estate conventions, and through personal involvement in service groups and business organizationsDetermine and report competitor activities and market conditions to managerAt a minimum, the ability to work from 8:30a.m.

to 5:00p.m.

Monday through FridayRegular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company eventsMaintain detailed records of interactions and communications with agents via Zoho CRMInstructs agency personnel in use of company online tools and assets available to agentsTrack and manage receipt and submission of regularly scheduled agency reportsMonitoring daily reports to identify lost business or client trendsActs as a liaison between company and agents and trade organizationsOther duties as assigned by management JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLSMust be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the companyMust have the ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationshipsMust be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, employees, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Prior experience in title, escrow or related field preferredAbility to write and orally communicate clearly, accurately and succinctlyProblem solving and results orientedKnowledge and experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)Basic knowledge of various CRM systems, such as Salesforce or Zoho CRMA High School diploma or equivalent is requiredReliable transportation required COMPENSATION Competitive, depending on experience.
