POSITION SUMMARYThe Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing a digital marketing and social media strategy to reach multiple audiences. The overarching goal of the position is to engage existing patrons and acquire new subscribers, donors, volunteers, and single-ticket buyers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGraphic DesignDesign high-quality ads, brochures, static social media posts and other marketing materials using the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite that comply with established brand standards.Maintain the library of digital assets.WebsiteMaximize website usability and performance, including regular updates related to concert series, education programs, special events, and submission forms.Manage SEO keywords and ensure web content is optimized for SEO.MarketingDraft, edit, and distribute content for our website, social channels, press releases, email and print marketing material, website, and other public messages, ensuring alignment with the OKCPHIL brand, using audience-appropriate tone and language.Maintain and adhere to a marketing and promotions calendar to publicize concerts, programs, special activities, and events.Plan social media scheduling for various ads using the Meta Business Suite, or similar scheduling tool.Other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEExperience writing professional communications and designing marketing materials for print, web and/or social media.Intermediate experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and WordPress.Proficiency using the MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.Email marketing platform experience, such as Emma or Constant Contact.Working knowledge of the Associated Press style guide.Proven organizational skills and keen attention to detail.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe position requires sitting and standing for extended periods, and the ability to walk, bend, and reach to access files/storage and office equipment. Using a computer while sitting for extended periods is common. The job requires the ability to communicate orally with patrons, vendors, management, and coworkers. Regular use of phone and email for communication is needed. Hearing and vision correctable must be within normal ranges for normal conversations, receiving ordinary information, and preparing or inspecting documents. No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up and carrying binders, and laptops) may be required.
