Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a PRN Cardiac APP to our Midtown Clinic in Nashville, TN.
Position Highlights:
* Filling in as needed seeing/treating cardiac patient in an outpatient setting* Great team atmosphere* Ability to hire within as full time positions open and become available* Seeking candidate with outpatient cardiac experience as an APP

* Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is the largest cardiovascular program in the region, offering access to over 80 cardiac specialists and subspecialists practicing at 45 locations throughout Middle TN and Southern KY. When advanced care is needed the experienced teams at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown, West and Rutherford are ready to care for you.* Each year, we provide care to more than 7,000 heart failure patients using evidence-based care plans.* Cardiac surgery is offered at both Ascension Saint Thomas West and Rutherford.* The largest adult cardiac surgery and most comprehensive structural heart program in the region* Actively participates in over 30 clinical trials to advance high quality innovation and excellence in patient care* Provides latest technology in heart transplant, VAD, ECMO, TAVR and mitral clips and advanced coronary therapies* Most experienced robotic assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgery team in the country* AHA Get with the Guidelines (GWTG) Atrial Fibrillation Gold Status* Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center of Excellence* AHA/Mitral Foundation Mitral Repair Award Center

* The hospital is one of the largest in the state with 683 licensed acute and rehab care beds and covers nearly 2 million square feet and spans more than six city blocks.* Ascension Saint Thomas continues to make significant investments to care for our community, including a $300 million Midtown campus expansion project which was completed in 2023.* Recent expansions at our hospital in Midtown include a new ICU and surgical tower, and the Women's Hospital Pavilion which opened in 2023. Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.* Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.* Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home statelicense for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
* Master's degree of Nursing required.
