Job Summary The role of the Marketing Specialist entails conducting market research, contributing to product development, analyzing new product opportunities, and assisting in coordinating marketing and product development process. Works under general direction; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and certain degree of creativity is expected. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Develops comprehensive knowledge of company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities Would cross-train between operations and sales Attends and successfully completes trainings assigned to them Interacts with other departments and plants to develop a stronger understanding of company existing products and goals for new products Prepares various reports as required. Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other software for business applications Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the public Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines. Demonstrate proficiency in general telephone and office etiquette and legible handwriting Demonstrated ability to be mobile in the work environment and to travel as required Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships Ability to apply business math to manufacturing processes.
