Team IntroductionTikTok Shop is an innovative e-commerce solution which enables merchants, brands and creators to sell products directly on TikTok. Being part of the TikTok Shop Design team member, you will be able to utilize qualitative/quantitative studies to collect user feedback, create a deep understanding and empathy for our users, and work cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing teams to meet the business needs. On the TikTok Shop business design team, we believe in design that prioritizes usability, functionality, and impact. Our team, is strategically located in diverse cities, blends cultural insights and global perspectives. Centered on B2B solutions in operations and finance, we collaborate closely with stakeholders to create designs that enhance efficiency and user experiences. Responsibilities-Design engaging TikTok e-commerce consumer experiences with an emphasis on visual aesthetics and communication design.-Understand Business Needs: Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to translate business goals into visual concepts.-Develop Visual Concepts: Create key visuals, core concepts, and other visual assets using tools like Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.-Collaborate with Teams: Work with product managers, designers, and developers to integrate visual design into the product.-Test and Iterate: Participate in concept and usability testing, gather feedback, and refine designs.-Ensure High-Quality Design: Oversee the design process to deliver a visually appealing and pixel-perfect user interface.-Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with the latest design trends and best practices to enhance the visual quality of TikTok Shop's products.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications-Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Communication Design, or a related field.-Strong background in visual and communication design, with experience designing end-to-end products across various scenarios.-Proven ability to empathize with users and deliver visually compelling solutions that address their needs.-Ability to create visual design variations and justify choices through effective visual storytelling and user-centered design.-Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to articulate design concepts and rationales clearly.-Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing complex projects and driving design initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications-3D and Motion design skills are a plus.-Familiarity with TikTok Shop and current trends on the platform is advantageous.-Detail-oriented, with the ability to produce polished designs under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong teamwork skills, with a collaborative and open-minded approach.
