SUMMARY:

Are you a talented graphic designer interested in designing for video? Our video designers (specializing in graphic design) work alongside creative teams to brainstorm and produce a variety of educational video series. Our designers create title openers, on-screen graphics, and other visual elements. Experienced graphic designers have the opportunity to cross-train in motion graphics, illustration, or animation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborating with all video segment membersCreating detailed design schemes for educational video seriesCreating openers, illustrations, and other visuals to be used in short, educational videosSecuring proper credits for images (from Permissions dept.)Meeting deadlinesStaying current in the world of graphic design as well as video productionAssisting Video Design Supervisor with special tasks or projects as neededREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILSS, AND ABILITIES:

Proficient in graphic designAble to learn new computer skillsExperienced with Adobe Creative Cloud AppsExcellent communication, both written and verbalAbility to work well with others in a creative environmentSelf-motivated in developing creative ideas and meeting deadlinesBasic understanding of BJU Press educational philosophyExcellent time management and organizational skillsBachelor's or master's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience/mastery in graphic designBackground in education beneficial, but not requiredMicrosoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Teams
