Design Lead

Design Lead with WorkandCo International, Inc. d/b/a Work & Co (Brooklyn, NY)Generating innovative design concepts and solutions based on client needs and market research. Participate in the development of the user experience and functionality of various digital offerings, such as websites, mobile applications, and software platforms. Creating prototypes and models to test and demonstrate design concepts (Figma). Conducting user research to understand user needs and preference, incorporate feedback to improve designs. Create design systems with visually appealing and easy-to-navigate digital interfaces. Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using design tools to visualize and test digital product designs before implementation. Generate innovative ideas and concepts for digital product features and improvements. Presenting design concepts and progress updates to clients. Incorporating client feedback into design iterations. Conducting design reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and design guidelines. Collaborating with developers to ensure design feasibility and alignment with overall project goals. Ensure that digital products are accessible to users of all abilities and inclusive of diverse user demographics by adhering to accessibility standards and best practices. Providing guidance, support, and mentorship to junior designers.Supervises 1 employee - Designer.Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Brooklyn, NY.15% travel required, domestically and internationally.Requirements: Bachelor’s OR Master’s Degree in Design, Visual Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. Requires related experience (3 years with Bachelor’s OR 1 year with Master’s). Must have some experience in each of the following skills: Designing and prototyping mobile applications, including icon development, for telecommunication companies (Figma and Adobe Premiere Pro); Developing and creating storyboards and video flows for the biopharmaceutical industry (Procreate and Adobe After Effects); Designing AI-powered chat tool for the biopharmaceutical industry (Adobe Illustrator); Designing B2B platforms to push system-wide alerts across companies (Adobe Figma); Design and development of guided purchase experience for e-commerce website; and Redesigning e-commerce websites and mobile applications (Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe XD, Procreate, HTML, CSS, and Javascript).Offered salary range: $155,688 - $170,000 per yearTo apply, send resume to: BKDesigncareers@work.co * Please note: For the 'Experience and Minimum Education Required' please refer to the Requirements listed above (in the Job Description section).
