You will be the first product marketer working on our marketing team and take ownership of our go to market strategies for new product and feature releases. You'll be interacting directly with the leadership team including the founders and C-suite. This is a high impact role that is going to get a lot of visibility in the company!

You are articulate, passionate about product marketing, and enjoy communicating new information to an audience. Our product marketer will engage with a range of cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success, while also having an opportunity to interact directly with our customers. Our marketing team is lean and mean - we're looking for someone who will take initiative, learn quickly, and bring a growth mindset to work every day.

This is a remote full-time opportunity, open to applicants anywhere in the world (the job listing says Oakland, CA so it gets posted on LinkedIn).

You will:Lead the rollout of all new features and product lines at Distru including strategy, content, and goals, while staying on brand with our culture and voice. Includes but is not limited to: Informational graphics, short video content, website copy, newsletter releases, organizing and hosting webinars, brief instructional copy.Take charge of our GTM for new product lines and major new features.Stay up to date on industry trends, cannabis operation workflows, and customer product needs.Build an understanding of our customer profiles and ideal prospects, tailored to the individual needs of different cannabis business structures and state-specific regulations.Work closely with Marketing, Product, and our founders to develop and execute GTM strategies for new product updates and customer education content.Collaborate with our Customer Success and Sales teams to conduct market research, connect with our customers, and understand their product education needs.You have:

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsA strong understanding of the B2B SAAS product marketing lifecycleA core understanding of the B2B cannabis supply chainA strong desire to learn and succeed in supporting cannabis operationsCreative, content-driven methods for communicating complex ideas in an easy to understand wayThe ability to quickly grasp new information and demonstrate understanding of complex supply chain dynamicsDemonstrated your effectiveness in previous GTM campaigns, with clear examples of your workIndependent work habits, are diligent with planning, and detail orientedA data-oriented mindset and build protocols to replicate positive resultsA good sense of humor and a desire to have fun :)Your Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience using software for creative content (Adobe Creative Suite products, Figma, or other tools.)Minimum 3 years experience in B2B SAAS product marketingPrevious CRM experience (Hubspot is a plus)Comfortable speaking to an audience and being 'the face' on videosPreferred not required

$75,000 - $150,000 a year

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
