Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marketo Administrator to join our team and take ownership of our Marketo instance. The Marketo Administrator will be responsible for the technical maintenance, database management, data management and standardization, integrations and optimization of our Marketo instance. The successful candidate will work closely with our Marketing Operations and IT teams to ensure that Marketo supports our overall marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the Marketo instance, including building and maintaining marketing programs and integrations
Proficient in marketing operations and campaign reporting through all stages of the sales funnel from response to lead to pipeline and closed/won business
Ensure data integrity of marketing automation deployment, ad platforms, and email database
Perform technical maintenance on Marketo instance, including monitoring system performance, managing API calls, ensuring SFDC sync is working effectively, resolving system bugs, and managing technical setup
Manage the size of the Marketo database and implement contact aging processes as necessary
Ensure data management and standardization, including setting up mandatory fields, standardizing data, managing opt-ins/opt-outs and populating key fields like Line of Business and Product of Interest
Setup and maintain Marketo integrations with LinkedIn, Zoom Webinars, MadKudu, and other third-party tools
Oversee data quality and integrity within the Marketo database, including lead validation, enrichment, deduplication, segmentation, and list management
Exceptionally strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
Optimize and operate the demand gen machine including; Marketo, integration with Salesforce.com, evaluating lead-scoring criteria and overall lead gen program effectiveness
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Marketo Administrator or similar role with a deep understanding of marketing automation and lead management processes
Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of Marketo's technical infrastructure, including APIs, system performance, and bugs
Experience executing complex multi-channel campaigns, including email marketing, lead nurturing and lead scoring
Experience managing Marketo integrations with third-party tools like LinkedIn, Zoom Webinars, and MadKudu.
Expertise in database management, data standardization, and lead validation/enrichment programs.
Experience with design, configuration, testing and execution of multi-touch nurturing demand generation campaigns in Marketo.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Marketo certification is a plus
Iterable experience is a plus
