We’re looking for a Senior Visual Designer with a strong UX and visual design background to imagine the next generation of interactive learning experiences for higher education and professional learners. You'll partner closely with content, product, and engineering teams and be responsible for improving the current experience and will help craft a vision for what learning can become. You will be challenged in an organization that values vision, execution, and persistence. You will take ownership of our product by solving complex problems in simple, elegant ways. Product Designers at Pearson are embedded within product teams that are deeply collaborative, and each member is directly responsible for the team’s success.What You’ll Do:

Define and create the visual and interactive design for groundbreaking learning experiencesCollaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the product development processUnderstand and advocate for user needsDefine key metrics to track success and business impactMaintain clear team alignment around goals and prioritiesApproach an open-ended problem space with vigor and clarityThink holistically about the user journey and product ecosystemGuide user research and testing, ensuring usability and product consistencyBe data-driven and iteratively improve the experienceDesign for AI-driven teaching and learning experiencesAbout You:

7+ years product design experience with an online portfolio of relevant design workSkilled in design at the detail and systems levelConfident communicator who can clearly articulate your process, approach, and rationale to othersExperience working in a collaborative team comprised of other designers, content strategists, product managers, and developersPrior experience defining and implementing user research effortsAwareness of design trends across web and mobile devicesExperience working with design systemsExperience working in an Agile, lean UX, and mobile-first environmentUnderstanding the relationship of visual, interaction, and content disciplinesExpert proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or Adobe Creative SuiteBachelor's or master's degree in design and/or HCI related fieldDesign for conversational interfaces (preferred)Experience with educational content (preferred)About Us:

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:The minimum full-time salary range is between
