is seeking an

IT Director, Design Technologies & Projects Support . This position is an integral part of the IT Leadership Team and reports to the Chief Information Officer. This position manages a team of technical support personnel for BIM / CAD / Engineering and Construction Management based software applications and servers, and a separate group of project support personnel who work directly with internal and client staff to ensure superior design technology support and services.The position has a potential for up to 25% travel and will be based in our Douglassville, PA or Newark, NJ office or any of our east coast offices as well as metropolitan areas of Texas. This is a hybrid position and will be expected to report to an STV office according to company guidelines (3 days week/in office).Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead the AEC Solutions Support services and provide additional technical support as needed.Oversee planning, assigning, installing, configuring, and evaluating AEC-related software and hardware portfolio.Serve as the primary liaison with AEC-related software vendors.Lead the AEC Solutions team to maintain enterprise/network licenses and vendor relations, acting as the primary vendor liaison for all supported software.Lead the AEC Solutions team to maintain software licenses and contracts, ensuring compliance with vendor agreements.Ensure the AEC Solutions team supports software/hardware troubleshooting to a suitable resolution.Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting of supported software and hardware, analyzing vendor proposals and reviewing renewal contracts.Oversee and support optimizing software deployment and packaging using tools such as SCCM.Collaborate with the Software Deployment Team to apply timely updates and patches to meet project needs.Collaborate with the Digital Delivery team to provide direction and guidance in using AEC applications and project collaboration tools.Collaborate with the Digital Delivery team to maintain and update AEC software and systems to ensure data integrity and security.Collaborate with the Digital Delivery team to develop and maintain CAD/BIM standards, support files, and templates.Ensure all software is thoroughly tested before deployment to production environments.Guide the team in troubleshooting and resolving software crashes and performance issues.Consult with IT Service Desk Operations and Infrastructure teams to resolve support issues.Perform financial analysis, generate reports, and make recommendations for AEC software usage.Develop and implement strategies to optimize software utilization across projects.The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent coupled with 20+ years of experience, including relevant management experience. An advanced degree is beneficial.Required Skills:

Candidate must possess strong Autodesk and Bentley application and contract knowledge. Experience should also include:Demonstrable knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office Applications.Managing and guiding a highly skilled team of CAD/BIM support personnel.Working knowledge of troubleshooting and support of servers, PCs, high-end CAD graphics, mobile devices.AEC Industry related collaboration sites

- Primavera P6 & Contract Manager, BIM360, ProjectWise, e-Builder, mobile apps, etc.Licensing manager schemas, Sentinel, FlexLM, HASP, CodeMeter, etc.BIM execution planning & CAD standards.Scripting programming of the Autodesk products, C# .NET.Desired Skills:Understanding of general cybersecurity requirements and how they relate to AEC systems.Budgeting, finance process and other contract management skills.Team-oriented and detailed work ethic.Ability to communicate complex technical issues to technical and non-technical staff.Generate document guides, instructions, and corporate standards.Training and presentations.Networking - familiar with current versions of MS Windows Server software.SCCM - familiar with software packaging deployments, VBS.VMware - Virtual desktops management including app layering technologies.Drafting/Design experience.Scripts & AutoLISP.Compensation Range:
