NHQPurpose

The Manager, Genesis Experiential Marketing role is pivotal in enhancing the Genesis brand presence through planning, execution, and management of auto shows, ride and drives, fleet management, golf sponsorships, and experiential events. The role requires a blend of strategic vision, operational excellence, and creative flair to drive impactful brand experiences.Major Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive events and sponsorships strategy aligned with Genesis brand objectives and target audience.Identify and manage experiential opportunities with clear ROI in key industry events, auto shows, and experiential opportunities to maximize brand visibility and engagement.Support and manage end-to-end execution of auto shows, ride and drives, fleet management programs, golf sponsorships, and other experiential events.Coordinate logistics, budgeting, vendor management, and on-site operations to ensure seamless event experiences.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate brand messaging and product launches into event activations.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with event organizers, industry partners, sponsors, and vendors to drive collaborative initiatives and maximize opportunities.Oversee contracts, sponsorships, and partnerships to optimize ROI and brand exposure.Provide guidance and support to team, internal and agencies, in planning and executing exceptional events.Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of events and sponsorships in meeting brand objectives ensuring to align with overall GMA objectives.Analyze data and insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize future event strategies.Manage workflow and work across departments, along with the wider marketing teams.Maintain awareness of current and changing market trends, consumer attitudes, and opinions.Route estimates and invoices for necessary approvals and signatures and follow up on approvals and payments.Oversee Experiential Marketing invoicing, purchase orders, and budget tracking and respective cost centers.Assist in on-going marketing department routing to ensure proper approvals and signatures are acquired.Assist, as needed, on various marketing fleet-related projects as they come up including driving company-owned vehicles.Support ad hoc assignments to support overall GMA marketing objectives.Authority

Develop and implement strategies that all programs are executed against.Resolve issues and communicate with management and business partners.Manage activities and performance of agency and other service providers.This role requires the performance of work directly related to management and/or general business operations.The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is required.Education

Related Experience

Six or more years of experience in event management, sponsorships, or related fields, with a proven track record of executing successful events and sponsorship programs.Directly related experience in the event marketing field, either with client or agency.At least three years of experience within the automotive industry desired.Skills/Knowledge

Position requires ability to problem solve, make decisions and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a team concept.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate brand objectives into actionable event plans.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Passion for automotive industry trends, experiential marketing, and brand storytelling.Certification
