Design Manager

is responsible for leading a team of creative professionals, developing creative guidelines, and directing creative work, including print and digital collateral, websites, email campaigns, print and digital advertising, and video promotions.Primary Duties:Provide leadership and management for a team of creative, web designers and email specialists. Foster collaboration to encourage creativity and innovation.Manage the workload and allocate resources to ensure timely delivery of design projects.Serve as the brand ambassador helping to maintain consistency, holding true to the brand book. Provide creative direction and ensure consistency across all design outputs, including digital and print materials.Provide creative direction and strategy. Define and implement the design strategy that supports the company’s brand identity and business goals.Establish and maintain design standards and best practices to ensure high quality outputs.Review and approve design work, providing constructive feedback to maintain excellence in visual communication. Ensure all design work adheres to brand guidelines and enhances the company’s visual identity.Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to understand needs and translate them into effective design solutions.Serve as a primary point of contact for design-related inquiries from key stakeholders.Uses production scheduling software to monitor and support the execution of marketing.Other duties as assigned.Competencies:Thinks strategically and initiates effective, creative, informed campaigns that accomplish revenue goals.Excited about innovation, technology, and opportunities AI can bring.Demonstrates leadership in forging strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.Takes initiative to understand current trends to assure the team leverages best in class technology.Shows patience, flexibility, and resourcefulness in communicating and resolving issues with others.Highly organized.Qualifications:BA required; degree in marketing, graphic design, visual communications preferred.3-5 years of experience in marketing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Superior communication, collaboration, and organization skills.Strong mathematical and analytical skills.Ability to learn and use project management software (e.g. Adobe Workfront).Ability to travel occasionally (including overnights) is required for attending trade shows, events and quarterly departmental meetings, as well as the corporate retreat (which usually takes place in January each year).NOTE:

Occasional light lifting required.Travel:Multiday and overnight travel is required for Solution Tree’s company-wide corporate retreat (which typically takes place each year in January), as well as for attending trade shows, events, and quarterly departmental meetings throughout the year.Position Type:This is a full-time remote position. Days and hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work as job duties dictate.
