Job Summary:As the Director of Integrated Marketing for the Public Cloud Business Unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with our overall business objectives, aligning marketing initiatives with product launches, brand awareness efforts, sales goals and market expansion plans. You will directly lead a talented team of marketers, working cross-functionally to create and execute cohesive and impactful campaigns that drive brand awareness, prospect/customer demand and engagement and pipeline/revenue growth. You will work closely with field marketing and business unit leadership teams to gain their input for planning and to identify integrated campaign strategies and tactics for pipeline generation in alignment with the BU's strategic priorities. In addition, you will work closely with Rackspace Technology's global marketing team including brand, creative services and operations to develop and execute the campaigns and programs.The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B technology services marketing experience, including a demonstrated track record of driving integrated demand campaigns with measurable pipeline and bookings. They will enjoy and excel in creative thinking, innovating, and delivering measurable results that help drive awareness and win business. They will have strong communication skills and can balance thinking strategically about growth with executing effective campaigns, while leveraging the support of other teams such as product management, alliances, brand, creative services, analyst relations, PR, events and marketing operations. They also develop strong relationships with the field marketing and sales teams and work in partnership with them to deliver pipeline. This role will report to the VP, Marketing for our Public Cloud Business Unit.Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, creation, orchestration, and optimization of global multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints that balance long-term planning with constant testing and optimization.Design, implement and optimize a Rackspace integrated campaign framework for acquiring new customers and for expanding our footprint with our installed base.Collaborate closely with field marketing and sales leadership to ensure the plan is aligned with the sales objectives and growth targets for the regions.Lead a team of talented, agile integrated campaign marketers including product marketers, digital marketers and program managers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration. Leverage the team to shape and execute the campaign plans globally and locally for regions as needed.Drive a data-driven and agile approach to campaign development and execution that enables regular optimization for ROI.Work collaboratively with field marketing, product management, alliances, brand, creative services, analyst relations, PR, events and operations on developing and executing the strategies and plans. Collaborate with these teams to drive required input and deliverables for the successful execution of planned marketing campaigns.Own the implementation and iteration of Rackspace's buyer journey, working with relevant stakeholders to map personas and messaging, align campaign tactics and programs, oversee segmentation, and help build cross-functional acquisition and expansion strategies across the journey.Regularly measure, report on and analyze campaign performance to identify trends, insights and optimization opportunities to achieve maximum ROI.Manage the overall Integrated Marketing campaign budget for the business unit marketing team, ensuring strategic allocation of resources to high-impact activities.Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, using insights to inform and adapt marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.Drive cross-functional collaboration within the organization to ensure cohesive messaging and customer experiences across all program touchpoints.Champion the Rackspace brand, ensuring consistency with global branding guidelines while tailoring approaches to meet local market needs.Required Skills:A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B technology services marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within field marketing, demand generation, campaigns, digital marketing or related areas.Deep understanding of technology services market dynamics, customer segments, and sales cycles. Experience in the Americas and European markets, Asia Pacific experience is a plus.Knowledge of cloud technology and the players from either direct marketing experience and/or adjacent experience.Inbound and outbound marketing strategy/execution experience and an understanding of digital marketing best practices.Experience driving pipeline and revenue results across multiple channels, including scaling global strategy and programs for local execution.Deep understanding of integrated campaign best practices, playbooks, customer journeys, etc.Experience managing agencies for support and execution of campaigns and programs.Strong leadership skills with experience managing through impact and influence diverse and geographically dispersed teams.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM and digital marketing tools.Ability to travel as required for the role.Travel:As per business requirements.Sponsorship:This role is not sponsorship eligible.Disclaimer:The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this classification.It is not designed to contain or to be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required of the employee assigned to this job.Physical Demands:General office environment.May require long period sitting and viewing a computer monitor.No special physical demands required.
