The Digital Marketing Services Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing digital advertising campaigns for investigators who have engaged the School’s engagement service core to recruit research participants for their studies online. This position requires a creative and analytical individual with a strong background in internet marketing, including social media marketing, digital advertising, and related analytics. The coordinator must have experience creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns and strategies as well as compiling, analyzing, and communicating campaign performance data. Project management skills, including efforts to attract new clients, identifying their needs, estimating cost and timelines for each engagement, tracking project expenses, and other administrative tasks are required. Content development skills, including graphic/web design, front-end web development (e.g., CSS, HTML) and/or website builders, are strongly preferred.Major responsibilities include:Design and implement digital marketing campaigns to recruit new participants into open research studies (60%)Establish and maintain processes for effectively managing projects that engage the core for services (30%)Engage in activities to attract new clients to use the Core’s services (10%)Job Qualifications and CompetenciesEducation and Experience3-5 years experience in content generation, graphic design, and web design3-5 years experience in social media management, outreach, and communicationFront-end web development skills (CSS/HTML) are strongly preferred or high motivation to learnCreate, implement and maintain digital marketing efforts to develop a regular pipeline for identifying new prospective participants for clinical research studies.Support digital marketing strategy and techniques with first-hand knowledge of best practices in search engine marketing, online reputation management, display marketing, and social marketing.Perform analyses of digital campaign performance, including determining the campaign’s cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and other key metrics.Report on performance data to stakeholders and teams on a regular basis and provide recommendations for improvement.Manage budget and spending for each campaign and team, provide regular financial reports.Create landing and other web pages to ensure a seamless user experience from advertisement to study enrollment.Work to improve overall recruitment performance.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required.Ability to work independently is required.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strong interpersonal skills are required.Possess a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.All offers of employment are contingent upon a criminal background check and education verification that are satisfactory to Brown University.This is a fixed-term position with a year from start date as end date and may be extended based upon available funding.This is a remote position.Benefits of Working at Brown:Information on the Benefits of Working at Brown can be found
