We're looking for an experienced, inspiring Creative Directorwith an equal passion for creating great work, and leading others to it. You'll be at thehelm of a Creative Department comprised of teams hungry to produce great work for abroad, eclectic client roster. An ad veteran who's been through the wars, leads byexample, and contributes to a collaborative and respectful culture. A pro who can regaleus with stories over an office happy hour beer or two. Oh, and a CD who's expert atdeveloping creative strategies, and working with clients to move their business forward.Sound like you? If you embody - and inspire - passion and great work, if you rise toevery challenge, if you got the leadership skills of Alexander the Great, here's The BigIdea: Apply!Reports to:Direct Report: Executive Creative DirectorResponsibilitiesWith the ECD, set a vision and standard for Creative work and is responsible forupholding the established standards of the agencyLead teams to great creative work through direction, concept review, and feedbackServe on Sr. Management and help establish and achieve goals of agencyLead client presentations, and shape creative strategies for client workMonitor allotted project hours and ensure profitabilityResponsible for timelines, work flow, and overall management of projects in thedepartmentEnsure the highest quality of produced pieces through ProductionHas an active role in new businessContribute to agency culture in a way that is related to creativity and as defined bythe ECD or Executive Leadership of the agencyQualificationsAt least 10+ years experience in Art Direction or Design, with experience as an ACDExperience in leading teams and producing great workThe ability to work with or without supervisionExperience in leading clients and developing creative strategiesExperience in working in several creative mediums, including but not limited to: tv,digital, print, OOH, radio, and designAbility to creatively lead the production process in several mediums, including but notlimited to: tv production, print production, and the web development processPerformance and Accountability MeasuresEach year, The CD and his/her Executive Creative Director supervisor will develop andagree upon a series of tangible goals to be completed throughout the year. This, alongwith a formal review will measure the success of the CD's performance. Goal checkreviews happen four times per year (each quarter) with your direct report. One final,formal review happens each January.THIS IS A PREDOMINATELY A WORK FROM THE OFFICE JOB. While we currently offer Work from Home Wednesdays , this job requires that you work in our Chicago office Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.Direct applicants only.
