Designer - KidsFounded in 1973, ShinWon started as a small sweater company in Seoul, Korea, and has since expanded to export OEM/ODM knit and sweater apparel to the United States, Europe, and Japan with manufacturing productions in Central America and Asia.ShinWon provides a unique fashion experience to customers by pushing the boundaries of the modern-day fashion world with iconic designs for women, men and children's apparel.More about our company at:Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid (4 day in office / 1 day remote) role for a Fashion Designer at ShinWon New York located in the Bryant Park Area.The ideal candidate would:Possess a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design and have 3-5 years in kids' apparel.

Experience working with Mass Market / Premium Market retailers is considered a plus but not a must.Coordinate overall design support: creating tech packs, sketches, and presentation boards; preparing and presenting samples to buyers.Conduct market research in stores and online.

Prepare market reports under the direction of Design Director.Work with Design Director on follow ups, meeting deadlines and accomplishing product development milestones.Track and update design/samples/tech packs as neededFollow up on client's request and Overseas Headquarter needs.Support Headquarters with sample buying and market/textile exhibitions visits.Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
