You will find Nordson employees sharing our success by giving back in the communities around the world where we live and work.The Digital Marketing Specialist is a key strategic member of the Marketing Communications team, responsible for driving digital marketing efforts that generate a continuous stream of high-quality sales leads for Nordson's Packaging division. This role works closely with Strategic Marketing, Marketing Communications, and Sales to develop and execute targeted campaigns that enhance brand visibility, drive commercial effectiveness, and support market growth. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor, bringing a data-driven approach to campaign execution, website optimization, and marketing automation. By leveraging digital platforms and analytics, the Digital Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in aligning our digital strategies with broader business objectives, delivering measurable results, and driving long-term success.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Digital Campaigns: Collaborate with Strategic Marketing, MarCom, and Sales to develop and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns that promote Nordson Packaging's product solutions and services, driving lead acquisition and customer engagement.Website & SEO Management: Manage and optimize the Nordson Packaging website in alignment with strategic goals. This includes improving site performance, enhancing the user experience, and executing SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and conversion.Marketing Automation & Lead Nurturing: Implement and optimize marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) to manage lead generation and nurturing processes. Work closely with Sales to ensure effective lead handoff and follow-up, enhancing the buyer's journey and improving lead conversion rates.Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze digital marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics and other data platforms. Report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and inform future strategies.Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a digital marketing advisor, working closely with Sales and Strategic Marketing to ensure digital strategies are aligned with business objectives. Support the development of processes that enhance lead management, customer segmentation, and campaign effectiveness.Demand Generation & Conversion Optimization: Develop and execute targeted online campaigns that engage, nurture, and convert leads. Use best practices in A/B testing, calls-to-action, and content optimization to continually improve conversion rates and drive measurable business outcomes.SEO & SEM: Lead efforts to enhance the visibility of Nordson Packaging through effective SEO and SEM strategies. Continuously optimize content, keywords, and website architecture to maximize performance on search engines.Lead Management & Process Improvement: Align lead management processes with the buyer's journey. Recommend process and system improvements to streamline lead generation, tracking, and conversion.Campaign Execution: Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, email, web), ensuring they are data-driven, scalable, and aligned with business goals.Performs other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on campaign management, demand generation, and B2B lead generation.

Skills:Proficiency in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and web analytics tools.Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., C4C).Expertise in campaign management, lead nurturing, and driving the sales funnel from MQLs to SQLs.Knowledge of content management systems (SiteCore preferred), website optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.Technical Competence: Ability to manage and optimize websites, execute SEO strategies, and leverage data analytics to improve digital marketing performance. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and marketing analytics platforms is preferred.Analytical & Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable insights from data. Capable of measuring and reporting on KPIs, optimizing campaigns for performance, and making informed decisions based on metrics.Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multinational teams. Experience collaborating with Sales, Strategic Marketing, and external partners.Self-Starter: Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
