Hi, we're Speks - a Brooklyn-based product design company focused on creating oddly satisfying fidget toys for the office and beyond. We're on the move and looking for talented people to join the team and help us expand.We're currently seeking an experienced Junior Art Director to help tell our brand story across all digital and real platforms. You will collaborate closely with our Creative Director, sales team, and marketing agencies to help create visually stunning assets for DTC and B2B channels.Specifically, the role entails:Digital Design:
Develop eye-catching digital visuals for web, email, digital and other digital platforms.Ad Design:
Work closely with marketing agencies (Meta, Amazon and Klaviyo) to conceptualize and design ad graphics that drive engagement and conversions.IRL Design Support: Provide design support for packaging, retail displays, catalogs and other real world assets.Asset Management:
Assist in the photography and retouching of products along with providing support on video shoots and/or editing.Brand Consistency:
Ensure all design elements adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience with direct to consumer brandsProficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Capture one experience is a plus!Experience and understanding of e-commerce and social media landscapeExperience updating and maintaining a Shopify storeStrong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skillsIllustration, animation and video editing are a plusThis is ideally a full-time role in our bright office in DUMBO and comes with benefits, 401k and a kitchen full of snacks and Diet Coke.Please send a resume, cover letter, portfolio and one interesting fact about yourself that isn't on either of those.
