Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

The Digital Marketing Specialist-Website is responsible for the execution of marketing initiatives across The Smith Center’s website, ensuring that all efforts are delivered on time and within established brand positioning guidelines. This includes producing detailed analytics to support and enhance the user experience and providing data-driven insights that guide strategic decisions. Additionally, the role involves continuous monitoring and adjustment of website elements to maintain consistency with The Smith Center’s brand image while maximizing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdminister website components to include new show assets, design elements, landing pages, modify home page, event details, and other relevant information, ensuring alignment with marketing and organizational objectives through the CMS system.Input and maintain performance details using the Tessitura ticketing database to ensure accurate and timely information is available to users.Utilize calendar web application to efficiently organize and execute tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and projects remain on track.Monitor and optimize Google Analytics and Tag Manager accounts, implementing SEO recommendations to enhance website visibility and performance.Provide tracking pixels and URLs to agency partners for online advertising initiatives. Ensure all TSC and partner campaigns are correctly configured in Google Analytics for accurate tracking and performance measurement.Collaborate with show marketing and content teams to optimize website communications, ensuring effective promotion of TSC performances to online audiences.Analyze website traffic and report key trends and KPIs to the broader marketing teamContinuously monitor the user experience on the website, providing recommendations to improve functionality, enhance traffic flow, and optimize the conversion process from site entry to transaction.Collaborate with various organization stakeholders (e.g., Development, Education, Sponsorships, and resident companies) to ensure all content is current and accurate.Act as the department’s liaison with agency resources for website development projects and in the execution and tracking of online marketing campaigns.Execute all TSC domain name registrations and evaluate new options based on evolving marketing needs.Partner with the Senior Director, CRM and Patron Loyalty on digital marketing-related campaigns, providing input and execution support as needed to ensure campaign success.Deliver ongoing support for email marketing campaigns as needed.Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.Required Education, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in web design, web marketing, or Information Technology.Three or more years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on website design, maintenance, and performance.Knowledge of SEO best practices in website design/copyProficient in website designAdministrator experience with content management systems (i.e., WordPress, Umbraco)Basic understanding of .NET, ability to read and update JavaScript, proficiency in Jason, Schema, and HTML/CSS is required.Knowledge and appreciation of the performing arts and the mission of The Smith CenterRequired Skills & Qualifications

The hourly rate range for this full-time and non-exempt position is $25.00 - $29.81 plus benefits, including insurance plans as applicable. Our hourly rate ranges are determined by role, level, and scope of responsibilities. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by key factors such as work experience, skills, abilities, and job-related education and training.
