About the role
Become a key member of our creative team as an Environmental Graphic Designer within our Design Collective studio. With some guidance, you’ll work on diverse tasks that use well-known design methods for creating environmental graphics. Your role will be crucial in shaping projects that reflect our clients’ goals and values through branding, visual messages, and the design of spaces.
What you’ll do
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop creative up-front design concepts, environmental graphics, signage, wayfinding, and compelling experiences for physical spaces.
Participates in strategic planning sessions and delivers projects across diverse markets including civic, hospitality, retail, restaurants, and workplaces.
Delivers design solutions for a wide variety of graphics, branded environments, signage, and way-finding projects that meet project goals, including scale, timeframe, and budget.
Communicates ideas clearly in client presentations and to the team, demonstrating the ability to apply a client’s brand and design aesthetic across multiple mediums and across cohesive systems.
Develops and executes technical understanding to final production and through fabrication/installation, ensuring integration with spatial designs and architectural plans.
What you’ll need
A designer with strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at working with integrated teams of architects, interior designers, and other creatives.
Someone who is well-spoken, can draw at scale, and is comfortable working with architectural documentation.
A professional who is plugged into emerging technologies, industry trends, and has a strong desire to share knowledge with the team.
An individual with a strong work ethic, flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Visual Communication, or a related field.
5-10 years of post-graduate and directly relevant work experience in environmental graphics.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), CADTools, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Skills in Revit, SketchUp, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere are a significant advantage.
A strong sense of materials, fabrication, and construction within a built environment, with typography and illustration skills being a huge plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
Ability to effectively present information and solve problems involving multiple options.
Advanced graphic and presentation skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software.
Understanding and application of environmental graphic design principles, theories, color, and materials.

Equal Pay Disclaimer: CBRE Carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $50,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $65,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, and Vision Insurance.
