salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Offer a creative, yet consistent and technically feasible, design that supports the customer's brand.
Understand the technical aspects of plastic materials and their fit-for-use in applications.
Ability to work directly with customers
Develop 2D drawings, standards, and templates
Assist with creating mold specifications for specific products.
Design ancillary tooling components for use in prototype and production environments.
Develop and manage 3D printing (currently outsourced)
Develop FEA testing capabilities if required.
Assist with developing long-term design strategies to stay ahead of the curve on technologies and how they can be applied to meet our customers' needs.
Work cross functionally with operations management and the business development team.
