Job DescriptionSummary: Keeps premises of commercial, retail, airports, hospitality, healthcare, convention centers/arenas or other institutional buildings in operational condition by performing the following duties. $80,000 - $85000 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned.): · Supervises work performed by maintenance technicians. · Conducts periodic inspections of equipment such as sprinkler systems, HVAC units, plumbing equipment and vehicles. · Performs necessary maintenance tasks, such as operating hand tools, repairing facility and equipment problems, operating vehicles, performs carpentry tasks, performs plumbing tasks and other tasks as required to care for the facility. · Uses ManLift or ScissorLift Machine · Trains maintenance technicians to perform various necessary maintenance tasks. · Performs all tasks in accordance with safety rules and ensures maintenance technicians do the same.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervision of shift responsibility, handling employee issues. Math Ability: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills desired but not required. Certificates and Licenses: No certifications needed
