Vocal & Musicianship coaching - teaching vocal health, vocal placement, and a wide variety of vocal techniques specific to student needs - reviewing basic music skills, intermediate music skills, and introduction of advanced music skills- skills to cover are notation, choral/solo sight reading, ear training, writing, and transcription Accompanist - Music directing and accompanying for all course work - Introduction to musical theatre repertoire and instruction for musical theatre singing techniques (in comparison to classical or other genres) with emphasis on development of character, representation, and specific challenges facing the modern performing artist - Repertoire selection consultation and development Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in music Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in Music or Masters in Music Estill Voice Training Teaching musical theatre senior acting studio Appointment Information This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after 7/31/2024. Salary is commensurate with experience.
