Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Expeditor to join our restaurant Twenty6 at La Quinta Resort and Club! The Expeditor is key to a successful operation. This individual is responsible for supporting the service team with delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As an expeditor it is your responsibility to ensure that food orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to the guests. The Expeditor is responsible for coordinating and facilitating communication between the kitchen staff and the front-of-the-house team. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

Your Role:Maintains proper and adequate set-up of working areaCommunicates the details of each order to the kitchen staff, making sure they understand specific requests and dietary restrictions.Supervise the timing of food preparation ensuring that dishes are ready to go out to the customers simultaneously. This prevents any delays and ensures table synchronization.Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant area.Be the master of the restaurant, understanding the details of the operation.Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.Additional:

Qualifications•High School Diploma or GED required.•One year of restaurant experience is recommended but not required•Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor and fellow employees•Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule to include weekdays, weekends, AM, PM, split shifts, and holidays. This is a night time intensive position working primarily dinner shift hours.•Must be able to handle guest requests and/or complaints
