Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in K-12 educational projects to join our design team. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of architectural and interior design expertise, with a focus on creating engaging, functional, and innovative learning environments. Proficiency in Revit software is essential for this role to effectively develop and manage detailed design models and documentation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement interior design concepts for K-12 educational facilities, ensuring they meet educational, aesthetic, and functional requirements.Collaborate with clients, educators, and project teams to create innovative and flexible learning environments.Utilize Revit software to produce detailed 3D models, floor plans, elevations, and other design documentation.Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration and adherence to project specifications.Conduct site visits to assess project progress, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments.Stay updated on industry trends, educational space design standards, and emerging technologies to inform design solutions.Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in interior design with a focus on K-12 educational projects.Proficiency in Revit and other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).Strong understanding of educational facility design standards and best practices.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
