Role Overview:
New York Life Tampa is looking for a Senior Sitecore / .NET Web Developer with experience in CMS development and implementation. The primary purpose of this role is to help build comprehensive and innovative solutions to technical challenges within our Digital web development team. Our team works directly with our business owners to support strategy, maintain our multi-platform application systems, and build custom solutions within our industry-leading web development CMS Sitecore.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with BOs, POs and other IT department personnel to design, develop and maintain business applications that effectively support the NYL/Tampa businessProvide recommendations on methodology and development improvements throughout our SDLC processAct as the development lead on mid-sized website enhancement projects, leveraging built-in Sitecore features to enable testing, drive traffic, and grow our salesCollaborate with peer developers, QA, and architecture to find creative and elegant solutions to improve the current state of our applications while also designing for our future statePerform complex and varied programming, utilizing appropriate development tools and industry best practices (Sitecore XM Cloud, Sitecore JSS, C#, React.js, MuleSoft, etc.)Actively engage in performance improvements across our applications including our end user experiencesWhat You'll Bring:
5+ years of modern web development experienceExperience leading development projects including the ability to coordinate through the full project life cycle, while including end-users and other IT staffStrong analysis and design skills with a focus on system design and flowExperience developing modular components within Sitecore using helix best practice principlesMust be a team player and a good communicatorExperience with SCRUM/Agile development methodologiesExperience with designing and implementing high volume, mission critical, productions systemsSelf-starter with the ability to learn through on-the-job experienceMinimum 5 years of experience with Sitecore CMS development3-5 years of experience working in object-oriented design, analysis and developmentExperience with Source control tools (Bitbucket/GIT)Experience writing Integration and Unit test while developingBonus points for these:
Experience in the Life Insurance or Financial industryMuleSoft API development

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $90,900-$140,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
