Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion the Creative Team Member of the Office of Spiritual Development will be responsible for assisting the Creative Director in whatever areas are deemed necessary. He/she will be responsible for assisting the Creative Director in creating essential media assets for the Office of Spiritual Development and the offices under its authority. These elements include but are not limited to photo and video assets, graphic assets, audio assets, print assets, and digital assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing video assets and content for Convocation and Campus Community guests.Managing all OSD social media platforms - including ideating, writing, developing, scheduling, and posting content.Defining and implementing measurable strategies and campaigns to meet digital presence objectives.Creating a digital marketing plan and social media strategy, identifying strategic weaknesses, and making recommendations for improvements.Very high attention to detail, great time management, ability to work under pressure, strategic and analytical, visionary and executor.Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment within project specifications, deadlines, and budget restrictions.Stay up-to-date with Gen Z trends and industry creative tools. Ideate new initiatives and content that relates and connects with the target audience. Work with team members and lead in planning out the execution of those projects.QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALSEducation and Experience

Four-year college degree, with a concentration in Digital Media, Cinematic Arts, Strategic Communication, Marketing, or similar preferredProficiency in Adobe programs such as but not limited to DiVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier Pro, and Adobe After EffectsRequired Action for Employment Consideration: All applicants applying for the position are required to submit a current portfolio to be considered for the position to mpahl@liberty.edu.Preferred Experience

2+ years in a professional Videographer, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or other creative position.ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOBCommunication and Comprehension

Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University to a variety of business and community customers and associates.Strong organizational skills.Excellent computer skills.Problem Solving

Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.Physical and Sensory AbilitiesOccasionally required to travel to international, local, and campus locations.Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard.Regularly required to hear and speak in order to effectively communicate orally.Occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb stairs to move about the building.Handle materials, reach overhead, kneel or stoop in order to conduct business.Regularly lift 10 or fewer pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONSWork Environment

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting.It is well lighted and the noise level is moderate.

Driving Requirements

Use of one's personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) is required for travel in the performance of the essential functions of this position.Proof of a valid Virginia driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required.
