LEGENDS / WISCONSIN ATHLETICS

University of Wisconsin selected Legends Global Sales to assist in the marketing and development of Camp Randall’s south end zone premium seating. This project has provided various new premium seating options with Camp Randall, Wisconsin’s football stadium.

In addition to the premium seating offerings, Legends has been hired to oversee and manage various areas within Wisconsin Athletics, Development and Marketing department. Legends focus with the goal of driving revenue around the new premium seating offerings, athletic ticketing (football, men’s & women’s basketball, men’s & women’s hockey, women’s volleyball, and wrestling), annual athletic donations, and grow the overall connectivity and engagement with all Badger fans.

THE ROLE

The Ticketing & Marketing Analyst’s responsibilities include the development of appropriate documentation required by all projects, coordination of internal teams for the timely delivery of content and deliverables, working with the data team to track, understand, and report pertinent information to ensure collaboration across teams. The Ticketing & Marketing Analyst should be a person who enjoys the challenge of managing expectations, personalities, and multiple priorities, while enforcing internal deadlines and keeping projects on time. The Ticketing & Marketing Analyst will report directly to the General Manager, Sales & Service, and work closely with the Director of Marketing and the Sr. Director of Sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Lead the management and development of internal and client facing presentations, reports and quarterly project recaps

(PowerPoints, presentations, project overviews/summaries, etc.).

Coordinate with internal team members in marketing, graphic design, sales and data, to implement projects and initiatives

Work collaboratively with internal and external team members to recommend and implement process improvements to enhance workflow, efficiency, quality of output, and brand consistency

Assist in preparation of drafts for essential reporting on a weekly basis

Work with data team to gather preliminary information for campaigns with direction from the General Manager

Basic knowledge of budget management to help maximize revenue and profitability

Using data to identify industry trends in the ticketing and premium space to maximize revenue and profitability

Assist GM and Director of Data & Analytics in pricing strategy projects

Schedule and lead meetings with key stakeholders—including external vendors and internal team members across departments

Attend and interact in weekly meetings

Aggregate feedback from key stakeholders and create implementation plans with the guidance of the General Manager and support of necessary parties

Build trust and positive, productive working relationships with team members and clients

Coordinate with external vendors on necessary changes or adjustments to sales and marketing platforms

Assist HR with new hire processes, including documentation, onboarding, ordering equipment and more

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Minimum 2 years of experience in ticketing or sports sales environment

Expertise with project management software such as Asana, Basecamp, Hive, Trello, or similar

Expertise with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)

Able to simultaneously manage a high level of detail across multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality

Excellent relationship-building skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent time management skills

Confident, assertive, and accountable leader who is calm and professional under pressure

Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members when necessary
