We are seeking a Transportation EIT/Designer to join our Roadway team in wither our Salem, OR, Portland, OR, or Vancouver, WA offices.

Primary Responsibilities:

In the role of Transportation EIT/Designer, we'll count on you to:

Become a part of our experienced Roadway design group working as part of a multidisciplinary design team. As part of our team, you will have an opportunity to reshape local and regional infrastructure by providing accessible, multimodal designs within the community you live.Work as part of a Roadway team under the direction of the Project Engineer/Manager on a variety of roadway design needs for a variety of transportation projects.Work as a member of a design team in preparation of the following elements of roadway and highway design using local (state, county, or city) or AASHTO standards; horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout and sight distance determination, interchange layout, roadway drainage, and right-of-way plans.Work with a team in the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimations for projects of various sizes and complexity.Produce some of the following plans: Roadway sections, Alignment/Right of Way plans, Temporary erosion control plans, Site preparation plans, Roadway profiles, Drainage plans and profiles, Utility Plans, Paving, Pavement markingPerform other duties as neededQualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degreeEngineer in Training (EIT) certificate.Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarityand demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software suchas Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or AutodeskInfraworks and Civil3dAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
