Position Summary:

The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team of Event Marketers to plan and execute marketing events, generate sales leads, and build brand awareness within a designated district.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads.Plan and schedule events for the Event Marketing team.Manage budgeting and staffing for local events.Attend and manage various events to generate sales leads.Collaborate with local Operations and Installation Managers to grow brand presence.Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers.Track and report event metrics.Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.Perform other duties as assigned.Experience and Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.2+ years of managerial experience.Strong recruiting, training, and budgeting skills.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel to events.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:Experience in lead generation and event marketing.Previous management position(s) in Direct-to-Consumer marketing.Experience in home improvement event marketing.Physical Requirements:Normal office environment and field office/construction environment.Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.
